I’ve always been that annoyingly sentimental person; the one who keeps every note, every birthday card, every train ticket & boarding pass.
Tell Capri is an extension of that part of me.
Me, scrapbooking with my mom & sister.
There’s just something magical about flipping through old pages.
In one journal you'll find one of my dramatic songs that I wrote with such passion in third grade.
In my mom's scrapbooks, I'll laugh over photos of my sister & I on vacation in our matching outfits.
Now, my books are filled of written conversations with the special people I met in Italy.
They are filled with my favorite photos I took under the Eiffel Tower, or even better, at my dog's 14th birthday party.
Messy, incomplete thoughts & jagged photo cut outs, that may seem insignificant in the moment, but mean the world to me when I look back on them.
I started Tell Capri when I saw the gap in how we cherish our memories in the modern day. Everyone has a camera in their pocket, but those photos never tend to leave the digital cloud. You'll find overpriced photo books created online that lack the human touch of handwriting. You'll come across the outdated, intimidating world of traditional scrapbooking.
